Job Details:
Responsible for processing vendor bills for payment, taking advantage of vendor discounts when appropriate, examining internal reimbursement requests for accuracy, and reviewing general ledger account code distribution for reasonableness for each corporation within CVMC. A working knowledge of the interrelationship between the materials management and accounts payable modules is also required.The incumbent isresponsible for the proper accounting for impress accounts (petty cash).A general understanding of banking practices and procedures is also required.Requires knowledge of basic accounting techniques, business systems and data processing.High School degree or equivalent with Accounting or Business courses required.Must be proficient and comfortable with creating and using the Microsoft tool suite. 1-2years general accounting experience in a healthcare setting preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
